There are so many things to do at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, and so many good things to eat (and drink!). When you think of Harry Potter you automatically think of butter beer, but there are several other “must try” drinks that the park has to offer.

Okay, so lets start with butter beer. Like I said, this is the one that everyone thinks of, and it is a must try, particularly all of the variations. Pictured above is the frozen version, which is one of my favorites, particularly on a hot day.
TIP: be sure to snag a collectible mug at least once. It’s one of the cheapest souvenirs you will get, and it’s a little reminder of Harry Potter when you are back home. My kids LOVE the mugs!

The next version of butter beer, and possibly my favorite, is the warm butter beer. This one is seasonally available during the cooler months, so plan your trip accordingly. Personally I’d drink this stuff during the dead of summer if it was available, it’s just not an option.
TIP: get it with breakfast at The Three Broomsticks or Leaky Cauldron (the meal comes with a drink of your choice). Honestly the kid’s pancake breakfast is really enough for most people (and I’m a pretty big eater), and it still comes with the drink.

Delicious and satisfying. No matter how people may try to replicate it, the taste really is one of a kind, and something you have to experience at least once (or if you are like me, multiple times during your time at the park).

I didn’t try this one until my 2nd time at the park, and it is fantastic! It’s basically orange juice with a hint of carbonation, but the fresh orange and cinnamon and sugar rim make it magical! This is another good option to get with your breakfast.

This is a bit of an odd one, but has become a staple for me.
I didn’t try it until my third time at the parks, when I was looking to try things I had’t experienced before. It’s a minty cinnamon drink with blueberry flavored “fish eggs” (popping flavor pearls).
If you’ve tried everything else and are looking to change things up, it’s definitely worth a try.

This is another great opportunity to enjoy a good drink, and then take home the container as a souvenir/decoration later. I use it in my Harry Potter Halloween decorations.

You can see my pumpkin juice above, but the same goes for Gilly Water. Okay, it’s just water, but if you are going to buy bottled water while in the park, just buy Gilly Water and save the bottle!
